I am a results-oriented researcher, constantly seeking paths to improve procedures, and ways of working in the energy application domain; focused on adding value through a better execution, while confronting potential problems or obstacles immediately and decisively. Currently enrolled as a fourth year doctoral candidate at Duke University in the Environmental Sciences and Policy division of the Nicholas School of the Environment, I am developing analytical open-source tools that support the transition to a deeply-decarbonized electric power sector. Particularly, I am interested on contributing to the understanding of policies that facilitate the integration of variable energy resources (VER). For my research and academic contributions, I have been named a Digital Education Bass Fellow, a Energy Doctoral Student Fellow, a Rodolfo Llinas Scholar and a Energy Data Analytics Fellow.
