I am a results-oriented researcher, constantly seeking paths to improve procedures, and ways of working in the energy application domain; focused on adding value through a better execution, while confronting potential problems or obstacles immediately and decisively. Currently enrolled as a third year doctoral candidate at Duke University in the Environmental Sciences and Policy division of the Nicholas School of the Environment, I am looking to construct the knowledge required to develop analytical open-source tools that support the transition to a deeply decarbonized electric power sector. Particularly, I am interested on contributing to the understanding of policies that facilitate the integration of variable energy resources (VER). For my contributions on this field, I am currently named an Energy Data Analytics Fellow, Digital Education Bass Fellow and Rodolfo Llinas Scholar.
